Give up whatever you want for a month challenge

    Hey all,

    I am starting a challenge for myself to stop drinking Energy Drinks for a month and hopefully forever past then. I would like to start with at least a month goal and go from there.

    Anyone looking to cut something out of their diet for a while? If so feel free to post in here.

    List what it is you want to cut out and update daily, weekly, however.

    I'm starting this tomorrow.

    Welcome!

    I started this last Friday the 2nd. I haven't had an Energy Drink since. It's been 5 days, so far it hasn't been too bad. I am getting the typical caffeine headache withdrawls but that will pass.

    I started today, no smokes & 1 can of coke zero (was at a work function and was bought for me) Feel good so far.

    Well it's monday morning. I'm tired but still no energy drink for me.

    It's been 2 weeks and not a single Energy Drink so far.

    It's almost been a month. I'm still going strong, no energy drinks!

    I think I've kicked the habit I haven't even had a craving for them. I actually have a little over half of a 24 pack sitting in my cupboard and have no desire to put one in the fridge.

    I was thinking about it. You are more than welcome to keep this thread going :tu: I am still going to post in here.

    I gave up energy drinks this month. I think for Nov. I may do alcohol. It's going to be Thanksgiving next month though and I do enjoy having a glass of wine or a beer with my Thanksgiving Dinner :drool: we'll see what happens.

    Ok my 'give up' for this month is the followig
    Sugary or savoury snacks
    I know I should be off them already but my diet is very slack of late and I think a clean month from stuff from the vending machine and end of the aisle junk will get things going.

    1st day and did well, no junk just good quality food, should be a easy enough challenge but wanted little victories to start with.

    I haven't updated my goal for this month. I was sick all last week and forgot to post in here.

    For this month I'm going to do alcohol.

    So far I haven't had a drink since the 25th of Oct. I started a little early :)

    3 days in and my diet has been clean.
    No sweets\chocolate\junk of any type

    I'm still going stong too. No booze and no energy drinks.

    I'm doing soda. So far none this month. I'm going on a trip for a few days. Hopefully I can get diet ice tea where ever I am.

    8 days in a still clean, no junk food - even my cheat meal for this week (part of the 100 November challenge) was missing chocolate and sugary stuff.
    It was a heavy duty grill-up

    Good for you!

    I went out of town this weekend and was put in a lot of social situations where I would normally drink. I managed to stay strong and not have any desire to part take in the drinking though.

    Good effort needachange

    Been ill on and off last few days and the tempation to consume some junk was very strong but even though my cal intake was all over the place stayed strong with this challenge.

    13 days no sugary or savoury snacks.
