Due to moving and space constraints I haven't been able to deadlift in over two years. Pulled 455# at my peak which was 3 years ago. I focused more on the squat right before moving.

Decided to go all out as hard as I could. Really feeling it today.

    5x135#, 5x185#, 5x225#, 5x275#, 3x315#, 2x365#, and then I attempted 1x415# and failed. I'm pretty sure I can pull 400#. 415# is probably doable too, but I need better conditioning.

    600# here we come. :tu:

I honestly would, but hockey season starts for me December 1, so I usually stop lifting heavy there till March. I'll see how it goes. You can keep motivating me though. ;)

    Screw 365#. I pulled 405# today.

I was going to 5x5x315#, and after 2 sets of 3 reps I realized there was no way I could, so I did 365# again, and then put 405# on there and pulled it. It was hard, but doable. My form was pretty crappy though.

You really shouldn't hamper your form to polish your ego. Patience is a virtue. Having a bad form while lifting weights will make you prone to injury.

Oh I know, and I'll spend a lot of time working on my form. It wasn't bad, but not perfect. And it'll need to be pretty much perfect if I want to get to 600#.
