I'm on the lookout. The JSF Body Shop's database just isn't large enough.

What do you use? There are so many options.

I'm in Australia and the one on JSF was good but I would have had to add too many food items, so I am using calorieking ( australian version). Didn't cost much to buy and it gets updated regulary. You can also add custom foods or meals thart you regularly have.

I've had a lot of success using CalorieKing for one off searches. If you want to keep a running log, I highly recommend loseit.com. They have a great tracking system and are able to break things down by macros to see how your dailies compare to your average intake.

Also, they have great iPhone and Android apps so its really easy to keep tracking food throughout the day.

    sparkpeople.com seems promising.

I've been looking at LiveStrong MyPlate as well, but the creating custom foods option has been disabled for quite awhile - definitely need that.

I'd be glad to hear what others are using.

I'm getting more and more impressed with SparkPeople.com. It has a lot of excellent features, and I haven't found all of them.

So far, my only complaints are minimal.

Glad to help. I'm more and more impressed with it.

The database seems somewhat large, and custom foods can be easily entered.

I'm most impressed, however, with the end of the day results. Those are very interesting in the long term. You can get the same for measurements.
