Hey BJ. I remember you now. Didn't you get the job with Mercedes? Or am I mistaken. It's been a while. And your wife had an anagram nickname starting with P for Plan.

That's me Lefty... my wife was PDCA. The job at Mercedes has been what's keeping me from working out... too much time at work and a lot of stress. BUT, it is very rewarding and the family loves it in Alabama, so it's not all bad. Trying to get my fitness life back in order now.

Well... guess I'll be taking a few days off from working out :( The back pain returned.

I went to a local chiropractor (first time to visit one in AL). They took X-Rays... looks like my lowest two vertebrae are compressed. They did an electric pulse massage thing, and adjustment, and decompression traction. I am going back tomorrow afternoon.

They told me that there is a LOT of inflammation in my lower back and recommended frequent icing tonight.

Don't want to push it too much, so I'll take a little time off. Will be headed up north on the 26th and returning on the 30th. Guess my next workout will be on New Years Eve

    Hope the back heals quickly.

Stay focused on the diet in the mean time.

Christmas vacation is over... made it back up North to see the family... ate waaayyyy too much

Good news - I only gained 4 lbs
Better news - I've dropped 3 of it already
Bad news - I'm not on track to my target line any more

The back feels better. Still going to the chiropractor.

Me and the boy just finished 1st workout since Dec 19th :claphigh:

    Here's to a good 2015!

OK, so the 1st weeks of the year have SUCKED at work. I've worked every day since Jan 2nd... averaging ~12 hours / day on weekdays. Needless to say, the workout plan is suffering (as is everything else)

I am planning to take the weekend off... will get back in gear and on track. Good news is that the weight has stayed steady (and not gone up), bad news is it hasn't gone down any yet :blank:

I guess keeping the nutrition reined in is the main thing if you've no time to work out.. perhaps you can squeeze in a few bodyweight exercises throughout the day? like.. push ups, chair dips, or other calisthenic exercises, cos that's lifting something.. you won't need any equipment and you'll get something out of doing it.

Focus on nutrition. If you prep your meals and bring your lunch and snacks, you can still make progress without working out. Or if you have eat at the cafeteria stick to the salad bar and limit the dressing.

I like to work out in the mornings. Even when I am putting in long days, I tend to get to work at the same time and just stay later. I might still skip my work out because I have no energy though.
