    Hello all,

After much reading and research, I have decided to do cardio (LISS) first thing in the morning (before any food) 5 times a week, and weights 3 times a week (in the evening).

Is it a problem doing cardio in the morning and weights in the evening on the same day?

    Cheers,

    Prodigy

Not at all. In fact, it's ideal. Good luck with your program :tu:

    Pretty common/standard in the industry.

Making sure your nutrition supports both endeavors is a huge key.

I've been wondering the same thing. Except I am planning on doing weights during the day, and then cardio at night because it fits my schedule better. The only thing I am worried about is eating enough calories to maintain this schedule over the long-term. What would be the best foods to eat in between lifting and cardio to see the best results. I don't want to run out of energy and be feeling malnourished for my runs. Any suggestions?

    Thanks guys.

The hardest part will be the cardio first thing in the morning. I am FAR from a morning person

Once you get up and do it and get used to it, as the weeks roll by, you will be VERY HAPPY you sucked it up and had the discipline to do this.

    Very happy.
