I've been just eating spoonfuls of whey recently, instead of drinking it water. Does this affect absorption at all, or it is the same? Thanks!

That's awesome :tucool:. Do you like it? Did you just get tired of mixing it in something? If you are looking for new ideas about your potein powder, near of bottom of this interview there is a recipe for using protein powder to make brownies.

Well I bought a flavor called Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich a few months ago, and when I mixed it with water, it tasted absolutely terrible. Then I ran out of my Cookies & Cream a little while back, and there was no way I was going to drink the new flavor. So, I just started eating it.

It's actually really good (albeit, a little dry and slightly messy). But I like it. So if doesn't affect anything, I'll just stick to feeding myself the powder until I run out :)

Dude... I tried a big giant spoonful today and it tasted good, but it stuck to everything in my mouth... like I just ate a spoonful of dry plaster or something

You can eat it instead of drink it, but the more important question is .... why?

I used to do that with powdered milk....I liked the taste that way.

But...like Whey...it tends to go clumpy and stick to your teeth while eating it.

I tried and failed. But my friend tried and actually did it. It took a while though.

I'm great at the saltine challenge though. 6 saltines in a minute without water. I can actually do 9 saltines in a minute.

Yes, actually it could be seen as being even more beneficial to chew it, since the natural digestive enzymes in your saliva will help predigest it before it even gets to your stomach

I might try this! I hate my vanilla shake, I have 5kg of it at home, maybe it tastes better by the spoonful
