I know that a 2 pound drop over night is partially water - but there is less fat around my belly button this morning. I'm lean enough that even small amounts of fat loss are pretty noticeable. I don't know. It could all be wishful thinking but I don't think so.

If I get the job that I'm interviewing for, I'm probably going to start taking evening classes for multimedia technology, software engineering and webdesign. The whole program is 4 semesters and I would be able to claim the costs as a tax credit. It would mean going to school three nights a week but I'm willing to do that.

Thanks for the edit and clarifying! Yeah, that's exactly what's happened two weeks in a row now. And when it happens it's always the day after a really intense workout.

EDIT: My sister just booked her flight to SF. Must... suppress... severe .... envy :twitch:.

Thanks :) I bought a new suit for the interview and got my hair done and my eyebrows plucked. The person interviewing me is a guy and I'm not above using my looks to get this job :nope:.

Scale was up 0.7 kg since yesterday, which is probably due to the fact that I had additional carbs and extra sodium yesterday - that, or my weight yesterday was a total fluke. We shall see.

    ===

I accidentally turned on my HR monitor a minute late, so the data is only for 10 minutes.

    DB swings
11 mins, 20 swings per set, 20 secs rest b/w sets

    HR monitor data:
    Duration: 00:10:11
    Calories: 101
    Max HR: 173
    Avg HR: 161

    We'll see ;).

I don't eat much chicken breast. I usually get turkey breast. It's 6.79/kg at Hofer.

I didn't get the book, no.

    New post is up.

    =====

Excellent workout this morning. I felt stronger on every single exercise and the bar speed was much improved on front squats even though I increased the weight .

I opted for conventional deadlifts this morning and was surprised by how easy they felt . Perhaps I should pull conventional more often. My back felt fine after.

    Deadlifts (conventional)
    5@60
    10x3@75 + 4 chains (+ 1.2 kg)

    Lat pulldown
    8@25 + 2 chains
    10x3@45 + 2 chains (+ 600 g)

    Front squat
    103@45 + 2 chains (+ 600 g)

    Decline bench press
    5@30
    10x3@37.5 + 2 chains (+ 600 g)

    Rotator cuff circuit
    8@2x1

    Cycle sprints
    13 mins (+60 secs), 60 off/30 on

    HR monitor data for workout
    Duration: 01:06:38
    Calories: 586
    Max HR: 186
    Avg HR: 149

HR monitor data for hour following workout
    Duration: 01:03:53
    Calories: 352
    Max HR: 178
    Avg HR: 117

The interview is scheduled for two o'clock in the afternoon :scared:.

I spent some time researching the organization and I put together a list of questions I want to ask. I also thought about what to say in response to standard interview questions. My sister is going to come over tomorrow and help me do my hair . I think I'm well-prepared.

Best wishes for success with tomorrow's interview. Your approach in educating yourself and taking steps to make a good physical presentation are both really great and I hope this works out for you. :gl:

I've bookmarked your blog and will be visiting it as soon as my schedule clears up.

    Thanks, Vicky! :)

You PM'd me. I PM'd back saying thanks, but no thanks. I'm most likely going to buy the book myself once I have the funds.

Me too. I've evaluated past interviews and have thought about what I did wrong, like not asking enough questions. I'm determined to do my best today. If it doesn't work out, at least I'll know that I couldn't have done anything differently.

    :spaz:

    :thanks:

Good questions that interviewees have asked me:

What measures has the company taken to protect itself in the current economic climate?
or How is the company being affected by the current economic climate?
How much development/training is offered by the company within the role?
What opportunities are there for progression within the company?
What kind of progression have people made who have done this job in the past?
    Why is this job available?
What is the largest animal you can throw over a crossbar?
