    Thank you!

    Mini-Update:
Started logging my calories and macros again...walking everyday.
I did gain about 5lbs over the summer, mostly due to not watching my diet as closely as I have before. So back on that track:nod:

Last big bike trip is coming up in two weeks...after that, I will be able to get back to lifting heavy things...
I am glad I took a break, but I am happy about starting again.:tu:

Take it easy getting started. I hope you will start with lower weights. You'll be up there again in no time flat.

    Oh yes...no injuries please:lol:

I did the same thing last year.
When riding season starts, I get paranoid about injuring myself and stop the heavy lifting until it's over. (Not to mention it was way too hot most of the summer to be out in the garage working out...)

Not an ideal way to keep in shape, I understand that, but our trips are important to us, and we don't want to miss any...

No more important motorbike trips this year, so time to get back at it.

174lbs this morning...was around 170 most of the summer.
Four days in Wisconsin eating deep fried cheese curds and drinking great beer does take a toll.
My goal is to be 160-165.

Diet so far today...a banana, one hard boiled egg, turkey on whole wheat, a Quest protein bar, and some strawberries.
Got in a 1 1/2 mile walk at lunch...

When I get home I need to start rearranging the garage to get my weights out....

Why of course:lol: Great trip, but it was cloudy, windy and cold...with highs around 42ยบ most days....
But the fall colors in SW Wisconsin were looking good

Stayed at the Don Q Inn the first night...they have a plane out front you can go in.

Had a good turn out, about 20 bikes. The motel was a nice little place with 14 rooms and we had 10 of them.

As you can see, we were a little bundled up...

But the nights were warm...that's my wife and me on the right.

    Thanks for the pictures.

Last weekend I was in Albany NY, about 150 miles north of where I live, and the difference in the fall foliage was significant. Due to be being in the city I didn't have an opportunity to take pictures of the colorful leaves, but they sure made the run on Sunday more enjoyable.

173.8lbs this morning. I know not to check everyday, but when it moves the right way, it's encouraging.

Last night we had a nice Tilapia dinner, with carrots and wild rice. Good portion control and a nice calorie deficit for the day.
Moved a few motorcycles around. Now I have room for my mat and can reach the pullup bar.

Tonight I'll have a nice, light, short workout to begin getting back into it.

So far today...banana, Quest protein bar, hard boiled egg, turkey on wheat and some strawberries.

Ready to head home, but still have an hour or so to go...;)

    How did you know...?

Just my upper arms from push ups. Noticed when I drove in this morning or when I pick up my coffee cup...:)

Good dinner of chicken and brown rice last night.
A quick, light, body weight workout last night, plus I pulled out my bar and plates and set those up.

Well today...173lbs...think I am still losing water from my salty meals on our Wisconsin trip...;)

Food so far today...banana, two hard boiled eggs, Quest protein bar, turkey on wheat and a few strawberries...
    2.4 mile walk.

I will probably concentrate on light deadlifts tonight to verify my form, before working up to my previous weights...

Good idea to get the form right. Coincidentally I deadlifted today for the first time in a couple of months. Went light and was fine in the beginning, but I could feel my form slipping as I got tired.

Well I didn't try any deadlifts last night...by the time I got home yesterday, the DOMS was kicking my butt from Tuesday...arms, back chest...
Could hardly sleep last night, still sore today...:)

Anyway...I decided it was best to go back to my Tues, Thur, Sat routine instead of pushing too hard.

I have no issue with them winning as long as it's by less than 6. In my football pool I have the Lions getting 5.5. I'm having a very good year, but a terrible week so you are likely very safe. :)
