Better Wind

    Hi, I'm a 16 year old teenager, and I stumbled upon this site to ask a few questions. I have a good athletic build, no weight issues; however I do suffer from asthma. I decided sometime last week to begin running 3 miles everyday of the week, except Sunday for a rest day. (Today is Day 5). Will doing this get me in the shape I want to be in? On a side note, will it make me faster as well? I run track for my school. (The 100m and 200m)

    You don't say what type of shape you want to be in.

    As for speed, the more your cardio ability increases the faster you'll naturally be able to run for a given distance, but if you want to focus on speed look into specific protocols which emphasize that such as programs that include interval training and sprints.
