    Hey guys...

I want to build a pull up bar in my garage.
I dont have any exposed beams or anything like that which i can use so i'm going to need to build a frame.

Anyone have any idea or have any plans on how to build one? Prefer to build it out of wood also... I have a spare barbell which I will use for the bar.

It's pretty easy, and not too expensive. Just get some 1" or greater galvanized pipe from the hardware store along w/ the proper joints and mounting items. There's a picture in another thread of all the parts you need. Just extend the bar down w/ a couple of other bars.

They make a 1' bar, get two of those. Get one 36" or 48" bar, two joins to connect the three, and then two mounting pieces. Make sure you mount it INTO the boards in the ceiling. Not just the drywall.
