It's not the attitude, it's the belief system.

You still associate dieting as not fun. You separated them in this post! You need to realize that you can have fun even while eating healthy. How much fun is gorging down on high carb/fatty foods? Go to a restaurant and watch people doing this--they would have just as much fun with a salad in front of them.

Whhat is a deload week? Is it just using lower weights? Why?

Need to get back to updating every day

    Day 45
    Not good unexpected date
day 46 not good with diet due to halloween party, did hit the gym
    Day 47 recovering from party
    day 48
Better, went for a 30 minute walk

I'm completely incapable of maintaining any sort of social life and a diet, and that needs to change.

Lefty, a deload week is using lighter weight, so you it gives you a bit of a break without actually taking time off

And yes, I do associate dieting as not fun. I think I've proven that I can't out workout a bad diet and I need to stop thinking that I can

I am also currently eating what I have at home. But at least I try to prepare the ingredients in a healthy way. That won't get me super results, but it will get me through a rough period without feeling guilty and still help me lose some more fat.
You need to simply ask your friends to help you stick to your dietary program even when you're out. IT's difficult, I know.

Thanks, the good mornings felt extremely weird so I know how you feel. Hopefully I can get the hang of them myself but the bar was slipping around all over and that won't be good with some serious weight on there.

What's wrong with the diet? Lately, mine's been clean but since I0m broke it's just too low on calories. There's only so much you can get from a risotto with mushroom and soy:lol:

Good news everybody, my long national nightmare is finally over and I have found a job. Hopefully this goes better than that temp job bs from a couple months ago. 60 day probationary period but I'm confident everything will work out. Hate to do it again but I'm going to reset the day counter. I've been working out still but the diet was crap before yesterday. Being at work all day means no more eating whenever I feel like it.

    day 1
Diet was about 1550 calories (this will get a little higher soon but til I get paid I'm broke)
Also going to start lifting 3x a week instead of 4 so I can get my cardio in now that I no longer have unlimited free time.

    workout
    deadlift 3x145x3. 2x165x3, 2x185x3
    ohp 2x95x3 2x105x3 2x115x3
    good mornings 3x55x6
