immediately after i work out i drink my arginine. insulin inhibits the effects of arginine. i drink alot of simple sugars with my creatine for creatine storage, that spikes my insulin levels, and post workout is the best time to take creatine, so how long after i drink the arginine should i take my creatine/insulin spiking sugars??? thank you
    :bb:
arginine raises growth hormone, but insulin inhibits growth hormone, but the best time to take creatine with dextrose, insulin spiker, is after workout. but i dont want to inhibit the arginine that raise growth hormone, do you see my dilemma? thanks

Without opening pandora's box with this whole debate on arginine, creatine, etc.; let me just say that first and foremost arginine is a vasodilator. In other words, it dilates your blood vessels. That is why it is considered a natural substitute for nitroglycerine (for angina - heart pain) and for Viagra. Now whether it does all the other things you are asserting, I'll leave that to the better informed here on this forum to comment.

I don't see a dilemma at all. Oral l-arginine is worthless. For the elite lifter or competitor supplements will provide a 2% difference. For everyone else, 2% positive response of anything still means they are 25-50% behind the leaders.

Growth hormone release is optimized by progressive training and sleep. Creatine taken with dextrose won't elicit any kind of "spike" Creatine should be taken every day at a 3-4 gram dose with meal of choice. The bodies creatine stores will then become saturated within 30 days or so.

I have heard this before. Lots of supplements are sold to make money and create the illusion you are training harder / being healthier.
