Another JS inspired transformation!

    Please see a range of photos below from my "Day One" through to the present.

    First Picture taken in April 2008 at 145lbs and 18% body fat
    Pic 2 (End of 1st Cut 2008) taken in August 2008 at 124lbs and 8% body fat
    Pic 3 (End of 1st Bulk 2009) taken in Feb 2009 at 136lbs and 14% body fat
    Pic 4 (End of 2nd Cut 2009) taken on 19th June 2009 at 124lbs and 8% body fat
    Pic 5 (Bulking) taken on 30th Sept 2009 at 143lbs and around 13% body fat
    Pic 6 (Cutting) taken on 11th August 2010 at 140.5lbs and around 13% body fat
    Pic 7 (Cutting) taken on 2nd May 2011 at 147lbs and around 16% body fat
    Pic 8 (END OF BULK) taken on 1st April 2013 at 162lbs and 18% body fat after a 3 year focus on deadlifting!
    Pic 9 (3.5 Weeks into 2013 cut) at 155lbs and around 17% body fat (just added for my personal benefit really)

    Great work! You definitely kept some awesome definition in your forearms even after the cut. That's awesome stuff. Good luck on the bulk, can't wait to see your progress!

    Great job with the fat loss, you look lean!

    A few more pounds of muscle are going to look real good on that frame. :tucool:

    Thanks everyone for your praise - especially from you John! :bow:

    My bulk is making progress. My strength is certainly improving (although it did dramaticallly during my cut as well) and following advice from another thread, as of this morning I increased my weight levels and recuded my reps. I was doing 5 x 10/12 but I now do 3 x 10/12. :bb:

    I've also cut out cardio and have replaced these sessions with a greater variety of weight sets. :nod:

    I've put on a little more weight than I would like :cry:but I guess that's all part of the plan! :read:

    Can't wait to cut in the spring and actually SEE the results from all this work. :jumping:

    I'll post another pic at the end of my bulk on 1st April.

    Hi theMasters

    Thanks for the compliment! I didn't do anything special and in most books I overtrained and under ate!

    I trained 6 days a week with a 45 minute jog 4 times a week and weight training 6 days for 45 minutes.

    For weights I did high reps (20) with low weights which clearly worked for me. I suspect I had a decent amount of dormant muscle underneath all my fat that I had built up when I used to clean boats for a living!

    I kept to a very rigid diet - lots of low fat Cottage Cheese and Whey Protein. I ate 10 times my body weight in calaries eg when I weighed 130lbs I ate 1,300 calories.

    I've just started cutting again and am doing much the same thing but with heavier weights and lower reps.

    I hope this is of interest.

    Thanks Phenix, although I'm not convinced. I've just uploaded my latest Pic for June 2009 (added to 1st entry). I think I'm probably a good example of how to "maintain" a look as opposed to "improve" it.

    Still, nearly time to bulk proper like!

    I've just added the final photo from my 2009 cut (taken on Friday 19th June). I'm bulking from this point forward so the next pic should show signs of me getting a little more porky. I'll probably won't take another pic now until the end of July.

    As promised I've just added my most recent pic taken today around 6 weeks into my second bulk. I've still got around 7 months to go and will continue to post pics here every month.

    Hey Porky. ;) Looking good. You got so cut on your cut that you're going to be able to add a lot of muscle and not look fat. And indeed the first 10 pounds show some nice added mass and you still look cut as can be. I'll bet you're going to be able to have one heck of a 140# comparison shot with you're old body and your new one. Keep up the good work.
