Ok I'm in on it as well! Except I want to lose 20 lbs by August 25th, we're going to Hawaii on the 26th!!!! :D

I'd be happy with 15 but happier with 20.

My stats as of July 4th.

    Starting weight: 229.5
    Goal weight: 210

    Waist: 41.25
    Height: 6'6"

Hopefully I won't look emaciated by the end of it, but I doubt it.

Hey curvature, let's both try to hit 20 instead of 15!

I'll update every Saturday with weight and waist measurements.

    Good luck everyone!

Thanks everyone who joined! One week down! A bunch more to go! We can do it!

Hm... looking back on June, seems I only lost about 2 lbs the entire month! But lost an inch and a half. Weird. I'm gonna drop the calories by a couple hundred and start doing HIIT twice a week. I'm up a bit this morning... hopefully it'll drop down by Saturday's measurements!

    Update - 221.0

Slacked off a bit this week. Especially yesterday. Ate all kinds of junk food and about 5 Cokes. My mom called around noon and told me that my dog since I've had since I was 10 died overnight Wednesday night.

I know how John feels. The crazy thing about this is that it wasn't my oldest dog. Chelsea, the 18 year old cocker spaniel, had to be chased down for several hours after school one day in order for me to keep her. lol. I had nothing to do after school, so I chased a dog all evening. That was when I was five. That dog is gonna make me fall apart when she dies.

Okay... I'm still at 229.4 and Waist is between 41.25-41.5

So no change. At all. It's so weird; my weight hasn't budged even a tenth of a lb. It's been 229.4 for three Saturdays in a row! I wonder if my scale is broken...

I already changed my routine and my nutrition starting this past Monday but I'll give it a full week before adjusting it further and I'll make sure my diet is in check by ensuring I stick to the meal plans to a T. *fingers crossed* :gl:

I'll join. Not sure if it's a safe rate of loss per week, but if other more experienced people are no opposing it... I'm for it.

Starting weight on July 1st: 164 lbs
    Height: 5' 7"

OK, just checking in. I was out of town for a week, taking a break from lifting, meticulous calorie counting, and daily weighings. (I still ran and biked nearly daily.) If I believe the scale this morning, I ate about 4000 calories per day during this break. Which, um, is possible, I guess. :o But I'd be really shocked!

So, anyway, my point: I'm going to give it until Saturday for my "weight average" to normalize and then post my weigh-in.

It's nice to see so many people posting their success! :claphigh: Keep it up, folks!

Alright, time to face the music. My "free" week did do its damage, but it's not irreparable. I'll have to hustle to get back on shedule, though.

    Starting weight: 193.8
    Current weight: 193.1
    Goal weight: 173.8

Huzzah! Finally broke on through to the other side of 229.4! As of Saturday I was 227.2. :D

After three weeks of frustration, I did it by not keeping track of my macros and actually not eating super "clean" at all. I made sure I had 1 gram of protein/ lb of lean body mass. Which is about 170 grams for me. I also made sure I was at an adequate caloric deficit. And that's about all I did. Aside from my workout routine which I didn't really change.

I'll see how it goes for a while.

    Starting Weight: 229.4
    Current Weight: 227.2
    Goal Weight: 210

    TOTAL LOST: 2.2 lbs

Took almost 5 days off from the gym to rest a sore shoulder and had 1 cheat meal on Sunday. All things considered, 1lb isn't too bad :)
