    Week 12: 100.8kg Running: none

So this week the blisters recovered enough that I was able to play a game of frisbee, but I started getting a cold and felt pretty bad so haven't done any running. Trying to rest for snowboarding next week.

Diet on the other hand was pretty good. Not the best, but I lost weight despite almost no serious exercise. Will see what happens after a week snowboarding and eating huge meals every night ;-)

I'm really hoping that next week I can get back into some running.

Didn't post last week, was on vacation with no P.C. I kept all my goals up to vacation, and on my vacation at the beach I actually did do lots of cardio (running/walking), but only one really good weight session with kettlebells. So I failed in the weight category, but oh my, I failed BIG TIME in the food department. I knew I would eat some cheesecake, even was looking forward to it as a planned cheat, but geez, that cheesecake opened the door to all sorts of unplanned evils: lots of potatoes, breadsticks, (I never eat wheat, I know it's not good for me), beer (makes me swell up pretty badly), and the fudge, oh, the FUDGE!!! Something I'm not too tempted by usually.....
Anyway, my sister took pics of me, just fooling around....She thought I looked great in a swimsuit, I saw the pics today and had quite a different take on myself. I know I could look, and feel, lots better if I would quit "falling off the wagon" so to speak and get serious about my nutrition goals. So, I may post the pics here (as "befores"):o and start a training log to keep myself honest; I feel I really need to be accountable to someone.
But, as for this last week, El Flunko.

This week wasn't very good nutritionally. I drank a ton of soda, ate a lot of salt, and had more dessert than I should've. Plus I missed a cardio workout. I'm better prepared this week

There are just a couple of weeks left so I'm going to finish strong! :bb:

week 11 and the rest of the challenge: almost complete disaster due to almost 15 hours of work daily, but i'm walking and swimming a lot and although diet is not perfect i'm still within limits of total caloric intake daily.
I don't think I'll be able to post any time soon since work project is still going on, so I'll conclude today: even though I didn't reach my goals, I exercised regularly when my obligations allowed it, and I stayed active throughout summer, for the first time in my life. I will get back to my routine around the middle of September and continue making progress.

Best of luck to all of you in the remaining days of this challenge!:tu:
    And thanks for support.

Got in 3 cardios and 4 weight sessions this week, so doing good there. Nutrition was good toward the end of last week. I am trying to get back on track after diet disaster on vacation.
Not a perfect week, but I feel optimistic looking ahead.....

Wow looking at the last couple of weeks my weight has really fluctuated but I'm been on a pretty steady decline. This past week was good-I stuck to my nutritional goals (with the exception of an unscheduled cheat meal) and did all my workouts.

    It's the last week! :D

That gives me 9 out of 14 weeks of success, 64%, and an overall failing grade. Still, probably better than I'd have done without the challenge. So thanks for the nudge, PD, and everyone else.

Thanks Paddy! And thanks Philly for doing the challenge. It kept me on my toes the times (and there were many) that I wanted to take the easy way out.

Starting weight and BF: 252 lbs, 25.5%
    Update on 6/12: 249 lbs, 24.5%
    Update on 6/20: 246.5 lbs, 24.5%
    Update on 6/27: 243.6 lbs, 24.0%
    Update on 7/10: 244.5 lbs, 22.7%
    Update on 7/18: 242.8 lbs, 22.0%
    Update on 7/26: 245.8 lbs, 23.5%
    Update on 8/2: 240.0 lbs, 23.0%
    Update on 8/9: 235.0 lbs, 23.0%
    Update on 8/15: 232.4 lbs, 23.0%
    Update on 8/23: 236.0 lbs, 21.5%
    Update on 8/31: 231.0 lbs, 21.5%
    Final Update on 9/8: 228.6 lbs, 21.5%

So I've lost about 23.5 lbs and 4% BF. I didn't reach my weight goals so I guess in a strict sense I failed, but I don't see it that way-I kept it up and had fun doing it. :tu:

Kept goals this week....glad I joined the challenge, even if late, as it helped to be accountable this summer.
