I know I've been slacking, but is this thread dead?
Man, I'm the only one posting, we're never going to do this. Asking for help on my blog: http://creationfitness.blogspot.com/2014/11/keeping-goals-in-perspectivereality.html
Hey there! I'm a looooooooong-time lurker and occasional poster who has a journal in the basement. My uncle picked up some weights for me from an estate sale, and the guy threw in a pair of those paralletes (the thingees you can use to get a little deeper on pushups or handstand pushups, and allow you to keep your wrists straight). I'm hoping to get back into regular pushups once I pick them up -- if my old brain can remember, I'll contribute here!
C'mon Volleyball (and everyone else) let's get this thread going again before another year ends and we're still way short!
Somebody jump in with 75 push-ups and snipe the thousand milestone. I'd rather have some help and more folks on the thread!
C'mon folks, I'm going to need lots of help if we're even going to make 200K let alone 1 milllion!
At least it's a nice round number.
Sorry to mess with the nice round number, but ...
Add in the 200 I did last month.
Alright, three of us now! That means if we each can do about 280,000 push-ups this challenge will get done.....
I'll try to be more consistent this week and do at least 25-50 a day.
+140 over the past few days
This might be a bit of a stretch, but TECHNICALLY, I did 50 pushups yesterday while doing 50 burpees. At least they FELT like pushups.
Yeah, I think they count.
Yeah, they count. Burpees are close enough to the 8-count bodybuilders Navy Dive School made me do to count. Cause they suck.
Probably add my count for the whole weekend so this doesn't go up in dribbles. Thanks for helping!
150 more over the past few days. Sort of doing the 12 Days of Christmas and boosting this count.
170K by New Year's is probably too much, but at least 168,000?
72 burpees in workout 1, then 120 push-ups in workout 2 for a total of 192.
167,852. It's not a pretty round number, but I wasn't thinking about keeping things even while I was gasping for breath in a puddle of sweat.
+60 over the last day or two. the whole round numbers thing was a theme for a while on this thread, no big deal. Just get them done!
