Default Introduction

Hi everyone,
just found this site a couple of days ago and i have really enjoyed reading the threads and checking out all the before and after pictures.
I decided to do my intro in this section because fat loss is my number one goal and there seem to be people here that have the same goals as mine.
Here are some stats:
5'10"
38 yrs old
193lbs as of today 205 at the start of Sept.
bf % unknown
Here is what i am doing on my fat loss odyssey:
Weights:I am doing an bbriviated routine called "big bench" by brooks kubrik, it focuses on compound movements such as squat and deadlift with benchpress, closegrip benchpress, seated db press, curls and pulldowns and crunches spread over a three day period.

Nutrition: my gym has a program called easy zone which is, as you may have guessed, based on the zone diet. I've only been doing this for 14
days but i like it so far, no problems sticking with it

Cardio:six days a week for thirty minutes on the elliptical trainer, since i started the zone diet.
Once i started combing all three aspects the weight seems to be coming off easier, when i first started in Sept. i was only doing the weights and a little bit of cardio and that did not seem to work as well as my current routine.
I'll see about adding a picture, if not here then in the gallery.
thanks for reading
Andre

Congratz for deciding to change, you are on the right path!

You're fatloss plan seems good.

The lifting looks good, lot's of big compounds, that's the way.

The zone diet has a nutrient ratio of 40/30/30 if i'm not mistaken, that
looks great to me.

Remember to drink atleast 8 glasses of water daily.

Six times cardio is also excellent.

Keep it up you seem well on your way to a leaner self!
