mixing protein shake with l-glutamine powder
hi.
i just want to know if i can mix these two powders without provoking any counter-reactions. the l-glutmine powder i bought tastes awful not to mention that i even hate the smell of it. so it would be great to mix it with my well tasting chocolate protein powder.
thanks for your help.

I just tried that for the first time for my pre workout shake....and my thinking was that it gets mixed anyway in your stomach so I am going to give it a shot.

definatly mix the two together.. if you can splurge i would recomend getting some micronized creatine with dextrose and adding it together.
glutamine will help prevent muscle catabolism and help volumize muscle tissue so more nutrients can be taken in.

Some protein powers actually include glutamine in them! N-Large contains glutamine just to name one example.
I do have a question... if your protein already contains glutamine should you also supplement with it as well?
