Question An Suggestions....

I started my lifestyle change on 1-3-04, so i have been on it for 19 days. I weighed 225lb at 5'8". After the first week I lost 8 pounds, all without doing cardio or lifting weights. I wanted to give my body good nutrients to work with so after the first week I started doing cardio every morning and lifting in the afternoons(MON-chest, tri's, abs, TUES-back, bi's, legs, WED-off, THUR-chest, tri's, abs, FRI-off, SAT-leg, back, bi's, legs, SUN-off). Since I have started doing cardio and working out, I have stayed at 217-219lb for 2 weeks. I am eating 6 meals a day, drinking 1.5-2 gallons of water a day, taking whey protein, glutamin, multi-vitamin, and hydroxycut-ephedra free. I am also following the carb cycling program, which is where i have a high carb day, low carb day, and a no carb day, then start the cycle again. On High carb days, the calorie intake is around 2500, Low day - 2200, and No day- 1900. Using my bodycomp.com i have 23% BF and I usually measure it on sundays. I am just wondering what ya'lls thoughts are on why i would be staying at 217lb instead of losing wieght like i did the first week without working out. I know some of it was water weight that first week. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My goal is to get down to around 12-15% BF or lower by June 1st. We have a vacation set up to go to playa del carmen, mexico and would like to impress the ladies

Patience is key here...understand that what u are doing to your body now is obviously a lot better then before....there are so many factors when it comes to a scale...
