Default Weight Training for Golf

Any recommendations for some golf specific weight training exercises?
Especially those that you've employed and found to translate into better golf!

the exercises that give me the best results for golf are definetely any back exercises or back deltoid and any forearms exercies. Back exercises give me a good and strong position, and with the forearms exercises, i feel like i have a much looser and powerful grip on my club.

Too much chest exercises make me lose some flexibility in my swing...

Hope that helps.

I think that anything that strengthens your core muscles is good for golf.. One thing to think about if you want to improve your game while you get stronger is stretching and flexibility training. There are a couple of good golf channel shows about it and some good stuff found on the web as well. I try to do some golf specific stretching every day and incorporate it into my pre workout stretches as well..
