post surgery, need help
man it feels good to be back. i havent visited this forum in a number of years. Hopefully you can help me out now, as you had in the past.
Last November I had my shoulder completely reconstructed. I now have 12.3" of donor muscle and a metal plate holding my shoulder together. I went through months of physical therapy, and I am finally getting back to being "normal"
about 2 or three weeks ago, i resumed working out, lifting, running, and just trying to get myself back into shape. (7 months of doing nothing can wreak havoc on the body)
right now i am just following a simple 3 day routine:
Monday - chest/tri
Wednesday - back/bi
Friday- legs, core, whatever else i feel like throwing in there
I was hoping maybe you guys could all give me some ideas to help strengthen my shoulder and help me get back to where i was.
My bench press went from 230 pre surgery to 95lbs post surgery and even that 95lbs hurts my shoulder as im going through the motion. i know i have a long road ahead of me, but i am starting weaker then i ever have before and am just looking for assistance in getting myself back whole.
