Default I need some goal suggestions...

I have been struggling with keeping my motivation for fat-loss. I lost 50 pounds on Weight Watchers 5-6 years ago, kept it off for 3 years, and have been going back and forth for the last 2. I am up 20 lbs from my lowest weight. I recently purchased Jillian Michaels' 90 day body revolution and I LOVE it. My problem isn't the working out, I enjoy working out, my problem is that I can't kick my cravings. I don't eat horribly, I just sometimes eat less than 100% healthy. (Going for a turkey sub with mayo instead of grilled chicken and steamed broccoli.) I lost 5.5 lbs over the past couple weeks, but when I weighed in this morning I was up a pound. I need to get back on track and I think the way to do that is to set short-term goals. Any suggestions?

Decide what you want, how bad you want it, and set attainable goals. Want to lose weight? Set a reasonable number and put a plan together to get there. I will lose 10 lbs in 30 days. Then put a plan together and don't veer off of it. As far as fighting cravings, I have two thoughts. 1. Think of which is more important, a healthier you or a turkey sub with mayo. 2. Put foods you like into your plan as long as they keep you within your calorie goal. Small portions of your favorite foods can be fit into any plan within moderation. You clearly know what it takes to stick to a plan. Now it's a mental thing. You could also set goals according to workouts - I will workout 4 times this week. Then make sure you do it. Reward yourself.

I am a collector of tattoos. (Don't judge me. ) So I set goals and reward myself that way - when I lose 3 inches off of my waist or 15 lbs, I will make an appointment with my tattoo artist. Stuff like that.

Good luck!

thanks for the advice. I have been wanting a new tattoo for a while, so maybe that will be my next reward!
