I have to say I am pretty jealous of your strength so early on. 4x225 on bench is a pretty nice near starting point.

I know! Why did I join a commerical gym? I bet chasing/carrying my son all the time could give the Titan a run for it's money

Yeah, my trainer said that was abnormally high. I can't really explain it, I have been sedentary for years. About 15 years ago I worked full time for a year stacking 80 lb bags of solar salt off a conveyor belt, I got pretty strong doing that. Maybe muscle memory? Seems like an awfully long time ago though. Maybe I just have lucky genetics like that - sounds good to me!

Well yesterday I ended up having a burger for a cheat meal with my wife. I got home exhausted and she had a really bad day too, so my dad watched our son for a hour while we went out for dinner. She was so excited by the idea I felt like I'd been neglecting her. I didn't pig out or anything, so it should be OK. I have to say that burger was awesome after eating the same stuff meal after meal for weeks.

To compound my eating badness I missed breakfast this morning. I got a call right as I woke up that the network and phones were down in one of the buildings at work. I just threw on some clothes and tore out of the house. Turns out it was just a failed UPS, so no big deal. Truth is I still feel full from my cheat meal, so I'm not all that bummed about missing breakfast.

Today is upper body day at 1pm, I feel energetic and ready to kick ass.

My trainer wasn't available today, so I switched my cardio day to today and will do lifting tomorrow. 50 minutes of cardio done this morning.

The trainer wasn't able to meet me yesterday, so I did 1 hour on the AMT trainer at level 4, burned 875 calories. Had a pizza cheat meal last night with the wife. It was good. I think I am going to do once a week cheat meals on Saturday night, my trainer at the gym recommended it. Back on track with the nutrition today. Today is a rest day. Have a great mother's day everyone!

Nutrition was good yesterday. Met my trainer for a tough workout this morning. I hope I get used to the early morning workouts soon! I'm not a morning person, but the am workouts make a lot of sense for my schedule. The gym is a mob scene after work when I would best like to go, and it appears that everyone wants to just socialize and not actually work out, why don't those people just go to a bar? I bet they make zero progress in their fitness goals month after month with these "workouts".

My favorite are the ones that come do 8 - 12 mins at 1 mph (seems that slow) on the treadmill then they hit 1 set of back extensions, maybe light leg press and leave after a total of 15 mins in the gym total not a drip of sweat or intensity and I wonder what was the purpose of the visit. They do the same thing like 3-4 times a week.

Yeah, very puzzling. I guess people have a lot of time to waste...

I was up all night last night with weird stomach cramps. I cancelled my workout this morning and called in sick to work. I'm feeling better now, not sure what the problem was. Nutrition is good today at least!

Feeling kind of wiped out today, maybe it is the vestiges of whatever little bug I had yesterday. I am debating whether to go do cardio later on today. I think I will just see how I am feeling later.

I decided to pass on the cardio yesterday and I think I feel a lot better for it today. Off to the gym at 1pm. Nutrition was good yesterday, I did forget to eat part of my breakfast though. Nutrition should be spot on today. I ordered some Nitrean powder and have to say I like it a lot better than the protein powder I was using before. I'll stick with it.

Nice quiet day today at work. I think I head home a bit early today and revamp my meal plan. I am getting really tired of the same thing every day.

When I ordered that Nitrean protein powder I also decided to try the ETS supplement. I thought it was probably bunk, but man after a couple of days I feel really really good. I have been sleeping like a rock at night and that isn't usual for me. I think I am going to kill it in the gym today.

I am lucky I am content eating like the same thing almost daily. My variety is added with seasoning or sauce I use for my chicken breast, flavor of my greek yogurt, veggie I use with dinner.

Nice results. How many calories are you taking in daily on average?

Thanks!

About 2000 on off days and 2400 on lifting days.
