Vacation was good stayed home but did several things and got to enjoy and maybe over enjoy certain foods.

It was a good mental break from the routine and I feel more energized and focused now then I had before it. I hope this carries me for awhile.

July 9 wrap up: Food was good workout was good all around good day.

July 10: Food will be good and may get a unscheduled cardio session in tonight. If not then it will be the normal Bi's Tri's Shoulders tomorrow night.

So it's weird but I was reviewing the first part of my transformation from 2005 and on July 12 2005 I was 257 so I am basically at that point now (255.8 lbs this morning) and it's July 12 2012. So although I don't have the initial noob loss to look forward to I was able to get under 200lbs last time from this point by the end of the calendar year. Now I am a little older but I think if I stay focused I will at a minimum make a strong run at it. It's pretty cool knowing I have been here before and was able to do it. I have the bonus of being in better shape today then I was when I started 7 years ago since I have been at this now for 4.5 months.

Anyways still a good stretch of work ahead and this time I realize 200lbs is one of many goals I will have as I feel like it's easier to stay focused if you have something you are striving for right now it's a number on a scale but eventually it will be a body fat % or a lifting goal etc. I don't have them all charted out but I figure 200lbs is goal 1. Goal 2 will be 180ish by my b-day with as low bodyfat as I can get to by then ideally 14% or less but we will see. From there I will re assess I remember when I was just below 180 lbs I felt like I could lose maybe another 10lbs before I should start a maintain phase or bulk phase. So lots ahead and I feel much better today than I did when I started back in late February.

Anyways I better get back to work have a good day all.

July 12 wrap up: Nutrition was good and leg workout went well.

July 13: Nutrition will be good and groceries tonight.

Weigh in: 256.0 lbs so not a huge change but it's down from last week and considering Friday Saturday and Sunday we are pretty bad nutrition wise last weekend I will take being back to the July 1st weight and the .6lbs drop from last Friday. Next week the results will be better as I have no plans to eat off the plan this weekend or next week.

Weekend update: Did groceries Friday. Nutrition was perfect Friday and Saturday. Stayed up really late Saturday and woke up late Sunday long story short by dinner time I had only consumed 360 calories so took the boys out to Pizza Street (they like it) I estimate that what I ate brought me to my normal calories for the day not the right macros but I will survive.

July 16: Nutrition will be spot on and Chest and Back workout tonight.

Yeah I am willing to bet that over time if my diet is in check 90-95% of the time and that 5-10% isn't a horrendous binge each time I will hit my goals it may be hard in the final stretches but I am awhile from that.

Well my youngest Jacob turns 8 on the 21st but my oldest Caleb turns 10 on the 28th and we are celebrating both as they are going out of town with their mom on Caleb's birthday weekend. So we are basically celebrating both. I think we are doing swimming at the pool Saturday morning to early afternoon and then we will have Pizza and Cake. Not sure I will have cake but I will likely tweak my eating to allow the Pizza calories. I have learned that eating 1 meal off the plan as long as I hit my daily calories has little to no effect on my progress.

July 17 wrap up: Nutrition was good. Got most of the errands done but still need to get the finishing touches either tonight or tomorrow night. I pickup the Cake Friday.

July 18: Nutrition will be good and it's Bi's Tri's Shoulders and Abs day and as long as I have the energy I plan to get the shopping done tonight mainly wrapping b-day plates etc. It's not a huge B-Day just grand parents uncle and aunt myself and the boys.

July 19 wrap up: Nutrition good and leg workout was as well.

July 20: Nutrition will be good no workout till monday.

Weigh in: 252.6 lbs so after 2 weeks combined for 1.6lbs this week was a 3.4 lbs drop and puts me on track to hit my 250 lbs goal by August 1st for the weight loss competition.

Weekend went well. Had pizza on saturday but sunday was perfect and I tried to make things fit my calories.

7-23: I will eat fine but got into a wreck driving to work was my fault and my old mini van is totaled. I am ok fortunately and no one was injured but I have other priorities to take care of before going to the gym. If things get settled I will go but may have to skip todays.

Sorry to hear about your accident. It sounds like you were not injured which is a good thing!

Yeah fortunately just some bruising and achy pain but nothing that is alarming so should be back to normal in a few days a little worse today then yesterday but if this is as bad as it gets I will count myself lucky.

July 23 wrap up: Nutrition was good but didn't workout.

July 24: Nutrition will be good no workout today. Tomorrows workout will depend on how I feel shoulders neck back knees are sore nothing serious but enough to be safe and skip if I don't feel near 100%. I hate to do it but I don't want to risk injury either and July has just been a rough month all around. August will be better.

I find I do better when I go 2 or 3 weeks without a cheat meal. But that's just me.

July 26 wrap up: Nutrition was good no workout as I had a ton of errands to run but was feeling close.

July 27: Nutrition will be good likely no workout as I need to find a vehicle I have pulled together a little bit of cash and hope I can find something reliable and safe doesn't need to be flashy just dependable and safe have working AC/Heat 4 doors.

Weigh in: 251.2 lbs so down 1.4 lbs from last week. Not too bad and with remaining on track should hit my goal of 250 lbs by August 1st. It will be close and either way I am happy with the progress.
