Since discovering Trance it's basically all I listen to when working out (or at work, I love this stuff). www.trancearoundtheworld.com is a good starting place, has a podcast you can put on your device.

To sum things up, for a cardio choose trance.
For weightlifting — everything metal and rap.  Works for me.
I cant see anyone working out to country or acid jazz or folk or german angst pop.
