eating routine

Default eating routine

male
5,8"
230Lbs
age 38

my goal is to lose 30 lbs.

someone at work told me (x amount of muscle = burn fat or calories)
but personally i dont want to look muscular.

i just joined a local gym walking on the treadmill about one hour a day everyday. i do have a eliptical i bought a few years ago its a great clothes hanger . started using it again about 3 hours on tuesdays and thursdays.

cant cook and want to make things as simple as possible
i am eating 6x a day so 6am fruit, 9am Vegetable, 12pm protien.

One Protien: 2x a day
1 hardboiled egg (about 2 a day)
8 walnuts
2 teaspoons of peanut butter
1 can of tuna (2 cans a week)

One Vegetable: 2x a day
1/2 can of del monte no salt added
Green Beans/Spinach/Mixed Vegetables

One Fruit: 2x a day
bannana
apple
orange
8oz glass of welches no sugar added black cherry grape juice.
4oz oikos organic greek yogurt 90 cal no fat

my only vice are hotdogs with mustard that i try to limit 1 or 2 per day. nothing here i need to cook except for the eggs but they are easy and i can do them all for the week at one go so not too bad.

think i should up, drop, or lower anything?
leave out the yoke on the eggs?

First off, welcome to JSF

Secondly, I see many pitfalls and problems.
1) I see no weight lifting.
2) Too much cardio (combined with the absence of lifting, you will burn muscle as a fuel source)
3) Your caloric intake is not going to support any worthwhile physique endeavor. It is pitifully low and will amplify the negative effects of #1 and #2.
4) End result is you will lose weight, but not only will you look like a skinnier version of your current self, you will actually look and feel worse than you do now. Your metabolism will also take a knockout hit to the jaw.

Read up on the beginner stickies here on training and nutrition and you will be rewarded with a good base knowledge on how to start off on the right foot. Good luck.

i will try to add some stuff and count the calorie intake.
really dont want to look muscular at all.

Oh don't worry. I bet in 18 months you'll be complaining about not looking muscular

It takes a lot of work and time to end up really muscular. It won't sneak up on you.
