I tried it, it's like any other workout video. He has you kicking, doing punches, etc. you'll get a good workout for not using any weights.

I've also tried Power90 (www.power90.com), My wife really likes it and is using it now. It's very much like Tae Bo, running in place, jumping jacks,kicking,etc..

either one you can't go wrong. It's MUCH cheaper to just get out and run, cause thats all the tapes really make you do. get your heart rate up for 20 minutes.

I've tried almost all forms of cardio. Tai bo was the most enjoyable. Had to stop because my house just isn't big enough to do side kick.

Come to think of it I should get back to doing it. Just push the couch back and go. Cardio has to be enjoyable. And for some, strapping on a walk man and running out on the side of the road isn't as enjoyable as (or safe) as putting in a video of women in spandex doing aerobics. The choice is yours.

i have done the power 90 and i liked it because of the weight lifting tape, but stoped it once i got my weight bench. I enjoyed the cardio tape when it got the kicking in punching, i hated the yoga though. But i did feel proud when i was actually able to get through the yoga with out stopping and fast forwarding though it. maybe ill just give the cardio tape another try.

you know what is great cardio? Swing dancing. Holy crap, spend some time practicing the Charleston and you will be panting and dripping in no time.

But seriously, how bad could it be?

Personally I think Tae Bo would be considered more cardio than anything else, so if you're already running 6 days, it might be a better choice to throw some resistance training in there.

I have heard good things about it though, so again, try it for yourself and see how you like it!
