thanks this is resolved but i could not edit the recipe as the box opened too low down on the page. also tried to edit it from the food and sleep page and box disappeared altogether

What screen resolution are you running at? I would probably recommend at least 1024*768. If you do a page refresh and then attempt to edit the recipe, does it fix the issue?
