macros
so i just noticed something....
look at the meal below.....
well the "meal" has 80 calories. 5 g of fat. which is 45 calories. 45 calories is 56% of 80..... so why does it say 41%???
and i used fish oil for this example so i know the fat is exactly 5g and not rounded up or down.
it doesn't seem to give 9 calories a gram to fat for the macros.
maybe i'm missing something but this doesn't seem right.

my calculations make the fat content 41% of the weigh, not calorie breakup.
I am new to all this food breakups and macros so I am just going purely on a mathematics viewpoint.

i just noticed it's actually like that for the whole days macros too.
it seems to give fat 5.5 calories per gram. actually i think it gives that to all the macros.

If you think you've found a bug, please report it using the protocol outlined in your beta package. This is the only way we can properly track such things. Thanks.

i don't think i found a bug ...... i'm just unclear on if it's intended to work the way it is currently or not.
i'm just trying to discuss how macro percentages are supposed to be.
if it turns out the current way is wrong i'll be happy to report the "bug".
i just don't get if the way it is now is normal or not. i thought not.... but i could be totally wrong and no one is chiming in. so just ignore me. =+)

I do think you've found a bug...
5 * 9 = 45
45/80 = 56.25%
56.25% != 41%
Clearly a problem there.
