R.I.P. Chris "Swolecat" Janusz
I was shocked to learn that Chris "Swolecat" Janusz passed away on June 10th. I have no idea what happened.
My heart goes out to his family.

Wow, crazy. I was a pretty active forum member of his until it really became a graveyard about 18 months ago. He was always a pleasure to work with.
Very sad.

Wow... that's pretty shocking and seemingly out of left field. My heart goes out to his family. He will certainly be missed in the fitness world.

That is so sad, he must have been pretty young. He helped a lot of people with their fitness. I remember hearing him on an audio interview with Jeremy Likness.

37.
I worked with him for a very long time and he was responsible for some of my best fitness. What a terrible loss at such a young age.

Wow, what a tragedy. I'll be interested to find out what the cause of death was. He was so young and in such great shape. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

This is absolutely crazy. I was a client of his for a cut and a bulk. ???? Even though he was inflexible in his programs, he was always very nice and answerd any question I had. My heart his saddened for his family. Mick

Ah man. Very sad to hear that. JSF and Chris and his SGX got me started on the path 3.5 years ago. SGX was exactly what I needed at the start. It made a significant difference in my life. Very sorry to hear this news.

This is definitely a shock. Chris always treated me with well and was quick to answer my questions. I remember there were times when he would answer questions on his day off and he would be worried his wife would get mad at him for answering clients questions.

Working with Chris, I really learned about and gained control over my nutrition through macros, nutrient combination and timing.
Way too young.

Wow...came out of lurk mode to say this is really unexpected.
Thoughts and prayers to his family. He had a ton of info posted through these forums during my active years around 2003-2004.
Smart guy, very polite and nurturing to this community.

Just got home from work and read this. So sad. I did very well on his SGX plan and even made it to his Wall of Fame. My prayers go out to his family. He will truly be missed.

Just read the news. Shocked of course. Chris fostered a atmosphere of learning and friendly advice. I did well on SGX and followed his training for a long time. I always thoujght I could go back to Chris if I wanted to. Now It's too late. I guess that's how it always is. You never know when the unexpected will happen. RIP Swolecat.

So sad. Especially to hear that he had a son. My thoughts and condolences go to his wife, son, family, and friends.
