Resize/resample the picture to make it smaller in kb size and dimensions (if necessary)

Most digital cameras will have a large file size for photos, depending on the quality of the photo itself. If you don't know how to resize, crop, etc. my only suggestion would be to attach the picture in a post and maybe someone will do it for you.

I can compress it in Photoshop if you need help, email it to me (and you might want to PM on here saying you did)

Download Irfanview if you need to resize pics.

Highly recommended.

You dont really even need to do that, just right click the photo/Jpeg,Edit,Image,then Attributes.

There you can resise the image to 100x100 pixels which is the limit for the site.

P.S. this is for resizing for your Avatar, you can use the same method for any pic as long as you know what size you want.

:d_smile: I'm an older lady (Translation--------- computer illiterate.) trying to post several pictures of myself before hiring a personal trainer to help in my quest for fitness. I'm sort of reluctant to bother you if your offer to resize pictures was "idle" or if you have been overwhelmed with request for help. However, if the offer still holds and you wouldn't mind, please let me know and I'll "forge" ahead with an e-mail to you with pictures attached. Thanks, Carole

If you have XP, you might have a program called microsoft photo editor, it allows resizing. Most photo programs that come with digital cameras allow resizing. If you are scanning them in, then make sure everything is saved as a jpg file.

Someone else can help,of course. Hope you get them up.
