Default ever got fatter then u started out?

i have seen people get fatter then before after they lost weight, why is that? i myself got fatter then before, i used to have 18 % BF then dropped it to 16% and now i'm 19%, why is that? can anyone help me understand that?

The only explanation I have is that you lost muscle mass while you lost weight, so while you may weigh less, you appear to have gained weight. If you actually put on weight, then I dunno haha.

Your muscle mass shrank & it was replaced by pure 100% lard which weighs less.

This happened to me too. I think in my case its an inaccurate weigh scale, my BF% used to be 22.1% then it went down to 18.2% Then I went to 23%! I have no idea...

Measuring BF% is not an exact science. Track your progress with a combination of the scale, tape measure, and mirror.

If you gained weight while cutting, you need to reevaluate your diet - you simply at too much for the activity you were doing. Drop 200 calories and stick to it.

yup when i first started gym i cut cardio out all together bf went from 13% to 16%
