That's a pretty big milestone, and I'm proud to say that the signal-to-noise ratio here is excellent compared to many other forums.

I'm probably more on the noise then the signal side, but I enjoy this community so thanks for letting me be part of this family John.
But what REALLY impresses me, is that every situation that comes up on the forum where you could potentially handle it badly, you ALWAYS chose the classy and smart path.
My 1 contribution to John Stone Forums: When John added the ability to enter an "M" for males and "F" for females, he named it Gender and I mentioned that that is political correct incorrect english and it should be called "Sex". He agreed and changed the field from "Gender" (a yes no question) to "Sex" (A male/female question).
So, my one contribution was bringing sex to the john stone forums.
Not too shabby!

Congrats! and thanks John....! In many ways this forum kind of saved my life... or changed the direction it was heading....
(I can't believe I was showing my research assistant, who is a young, very pretty, blond & brilliant 30 year old -- who is distressed about some weight gain over the course of law school -- how to do squats --- in the faculty lounge! (no one else was there ) before we sat down to do work....
She had, a week earlier, complained about how she eats healthy and works-out every day -- cardio -- and nothing helps. I suggested to her she was not going to get anywhere unless she started lifting weights. After the "I don't want to get big and bulky" discussion, she said that I was the only one to offer her something different than what everyone else had already said. What clinched it for her was showing her Guava's back picture I posted on my "Trek to 60" fitness journal thread.
If that is not a powerful demonstration (out of so many here) of how JSF can totally alter someone's life (in this case two, because she came in with DOMS the next week ), I don't know what is....  )
