I've personally never tried them, but some of my friends have, they also reported muscle loss as well, so it seems to me that they just tear apart everything, it may have just been the brand or whatnot, but personally i'd rather work it off the fun way that trust everything to chemicals

I see the chemica part of it is what kinda scares me and i see ALOT of waring labes on them so i dont know i have a firends who takes them and he is a really good shape (physique) so im tempted to try them but i dont want to become dependent on them.

I have tried a couple, I am using Nitor right now.

Nitor works, thats for sure. I just cant seem to take it 3 times a day because I forget. It does make me feel like Im hopped up on caffeine or something and I dont feel like eating as much. Sometimes it gives me a headache.

Fat burners I tried, which includes Hydroxycut Hardcore, and Hot Rox Extreme, definitely helped me retain lean body mass. But then I could not take it long enough, esp Hot Rox Extreme, because of the side effects.

Could you tell us more about those side effects, i.e. what kind of side effects did you experience?

I think you can get to your goal without fat burners, but I cant say I have never tried any. The only one I saw gains with and zero side effects is Tight (regular, not Tight Hardcore). You take one pill a day so its not difficult to keep track of. Tight Hardcore requires more doses per day, but I have never taken it so I can't comment on its effectivness.

The only one I ever tried was a thermogenic, that worked ok, but it seemed like it promoted pseudo weight loss. As soon as I quit taking it I jumped back up like 2 lbs, so maybe it dehydrated me... who knows. A good diet / exercise plan will do tons more than a fat burner like Hydroxycut or Thermoboosters... Although I have thought about trying Red-Line simply for the energy part of it I just avoid it cause I don't want to lose more BF at this point...

I'd give Red-Line a shot, if you are up for it physically. If you have high blood pressure or a cardiac condition don't do it! If you don't know whether or not you have any of the conditions they warn about, see your doctor first to get tested... I had high BP when I first started working out so... that woulda been bad joo joo for me.

I'm 23 and was at like 19% BF or 20 ... I don't really know what I was at when I started, I have pics in my journal. I wasn't uber large though, kinda average cheeseburger eating build lol... and I had high BP... so you may not know you gots it. It is after all the "silent killer". Anyway point is run that by your doctor.

I used hydroxycut but quit because of the sides. at that point i was not drinking enough water and it made me feel real jittery, and shaky. it was pretty much the same feeling i got last night when i got dared to funnel a 16oz FULL THROTTLE!

You might wind up addicted to meth.

Jitteriness, insomnia, headache, too much energy (yes, there is such a thing), addiction to caffeine, elevated heart rate, etc. I don't use it anymore because of it.
