Unsolicited recommendation in Men's Health
As the title states, Men's Health magazine gave AtLarge Nutrition an unsolicited referral in the March issue. A recent study showing the superiority of a blend of whey and casein was mentioned. In the mini-article they recommended Nitrean and one other protein blend.
We are VERY appreciative of this mention and I hope to find out who there decided to recommend us as I would like to thank them personally.
Here is a scan of the page. The mini-article in on the bottom left corner.

I see the editor of that column's name, and I did send them a contact email from their website, but have not heard back.
I will have to find a phone number for them and try to call.

Do you mean the bottom right-hand corner? In any case, that is pretty cool -- Nitrean is a great product, and it is good to see you guys getting some good PR!

More talk about Nitrean is seriously long overdue! Congrats Chris! Men's Health gave a good recommendation.

Congratulations! Heard nothing but good feedback about the product and am a HUGE fan of blends ... well deserved.

I'll add my unsolicited recomendation as well.
I just ordered Nitrean for the first time about a week ago. It arrived a couple days ago. I also requested some samples of the flavors that I did not order. Chris included a LARGE amount of the samples I asked for.
I have only had one 'shake'. It was good! Easy mix, good taste, and as this article seems to support, a balanced protein source!

I personally prefer it other times a day as opposed to post-workout. But it tastes great and is a high-quality source of protein. It can complement anyone's nutritional plan.

Very cool...Nitrean is awesome, so I like seeing that you guys are getting some recognition, even if it's something small like that.

Congrats on the mention Atlarge, well deserved imo
Oh and it's men's health.. They have a huge number of subscriptions and they pretty-much repeat the same stuff every year, so chances are that you've got yourselves some massive and free advertising

BTW, Chris, over on the Precision Nutrition member's forum, there was a post recommending your stuff that Berardi responded to. Part of it was about a comparison between Biotests MD stuff vs Nitrean. Somebody had stated that Nitrean was the same as MD but cheaper, and Berardi stated he liked your stuff but it used less Casein in the mix so it wasn't exactly the same. To be honest, I don't know what the mixes consist of.
I don't feel comfortable posting the exact thing on this board since that's a private forum for customers that I'm not sure if he wants comments made public, but if you're interested, I could PM you a cut-n-paste. I think he has recommended your creatine before.
Congrats on your recognition. I had just seen that this morning.

I think it's 2:1:1 whey:casein:egg.

Mannish, thanks for the heads-up! Dr. Berardi is a good guy and someone that recommends some of our products.
Nitrean is 64% whey (isolate, hydrolyzed, and concentrate), 18% casein, and 18% egg.

I am not sure anyone could read the page I have posted. Essentially, a whey and casein supplement produced significantly better results than whey only, and whey plus BCAAs in a 10 week study. Those using the whey and casein blend got stronger and gained more lean mass (roughly 5 lbs!).
Men's Health recommended Nitrean as a good choice for a protein blend.
We have known it since the day we released Nitrean, a blend is BEST!

Congrats on the referral! I've heard nothing but great reviews about your products. Unfortunately I didn't hear those great comments until after I bought a whole tub of ON's protein. When I get through that tub I'll be submitting a bulk order for your products.

I kinda enjoy Men's Health, although I know it's not "serious" fitness stuff. It's kind of the Readers' Digest. Their advice would probably help 99% of guys who aren't into this as much as we are.
