Default Sternum/Collarbone Problem...

Since I'm currently in college and classes are becoming increasingly difficult, I haven't bulked in forever. I'm currently just beginning a cut, and once I'm at the desired bodyfat I'm excited to bulk for the first time in awhile because my schedule will allow it.

I have just one concern, though: I seperated my left collarbone and the subsequent 2 or 3 ribs below where they meet at the sternum 8 years ago. I saw an orthopedic surgeon back then, but haven't seen one since. They opted not to do surgery at the time. Now at times, it feels awkward if I sleep on it wrong. It also healed funny, so things sometimes don't feel when I'm doing chest exercises. I know it sounds like I need to see a doctor again, but I guess I'm just wondering if anyone on here has had a clavicle injury before since they're quite common. Also, if you have had an injury to your clavicle, do you lift weights? Are you more careful? Does it help if I build more muscle in that area to strengthen it? Thanks for the help...

Sorry I can't tell you that I've suffered a similar injury, but I would really recommend seeing a doctor before continuing to put your body through workouts. Better safe than sorry
