Default Introduction

Hi everyone,

I keep wanting to post replies to peoples threads, but I haven't introduced myself yet and thought my first post should be a little intro..so here it goes.

First of all, I started about a month ago (Apr. 25th or so). I'm 6'2" and weighed in at 245lb. My waste was about 44". The health central bodyfat calculator said I was about 24%, but I know it's much higher. Probably 29-30%.

I started out with 25mins of elliptical exercise at 70-80% max-heart rate (at 150-160 bpm), eating right (Following the advice of john stone and gravityhomer - Man those ultralean pockets are good!). I also did some simple resistance training (I have a preacher bar and also was doing alot of pushups, situps, cruches). It wasn't enough. I now have a gym membership and am doing 3 days a week of initial weight training by doing a full body routine (3x15). I've also bumped my cardio to 45-60mins a day on non-workout days and 30mins on days that I lift. I've never really trained before so I'm starting out like this and in about 2 mo. I'll be switching over to a isolated set like most people do.

My goal is to be about 190lb and 12-15% body fat by the end of September. I weighed myself this morning, I'm now 229lb.

I really want to thank everyone on this forum, the progress people have made is the best motivation I could possibly imagine.
