Thumbs up Physical Test

I had a physical test today in my health class and I did pretty good on it. I get my results back from the teacher next class to see how I comprare to everyone else of my age in the country...

Test was.

Weight - 180Lbs
Body Fat % - Will find out next class.
Blood Pressure - 130 - 90
1 Min Pushups - I did 40
1 Min Situps - I did 35
3 Mins Step test - Resting HR - 58 After test 132.

When I started my diet at 223 last december I couldnt do more than 5 pushups and situps. Also my blood pressure was up in the 150's and my Resting HR in the 70's.

I think I've improved alot since then and I want to thank John, and everyone else here for helping me out and keeping me motivated. to the forums!!!

Good Job!

The Army PT Test consists of 3 elements:

2 minute of pushups
2 minutes of situps
2 mile run

For you age to max the test you would have to do 82 pushups, 87 situps, and 11:54 on the run for a total of 300 points

The scale goes up the older you get. At my best, I scored a 282. I maxed pushups (85 for my age) and missed maxing situps (83) by one. Running has always been my sore spot. I only did a 13:59.

Good Job Evil I love tests because they are a good source of motivation.

My favourite is the Beep Test/Shuttle Run. I love it, I do it once a month and it pretty much takes you to your V02 max and you run until you drop.
