Default My Picture based Journal.

Starting stats: 5'10, 166lbs

1. I will let pictures dictate the effectiveness of this program.
2. I will be updating this weekly with pictures.

Before I knew what a "diet" was:

Weight: 215lbs, 02-18-2000

After Atkins and 30lbs fat loss (still fat, no muscle):

Weight: 185lbs, 12-30-2002

Here's my SGX STARTING pic:
02-01-2006

Weight: 166lbs

Here's my Week 1 progress:
02-12-2006

Weight: 162lbs

Are you sure you need to cut? You look low in body fat to me already.

Good point. I'm toning up some more until I see a six pack. Then I'll bulk. My problem for a long time was that I couldn't get my sick pack to show without eating up all my muscle in the process. I got close to showing it, but I was pathetically thin.

I am hoping that SGX will reveal the six pack and increase my muscle a little too. Then I'll consider bulking.

On the other hand, summer is coming... soooo...i may just want to be ripped for summer.

I think your right on the border line between bulk and cut. I understand if you want killer abs for summer. Good think about SGX is you will gain some LBM as well as loose some fat on the program.

Good luck man, and stick to it!

BTW, your phone takes pretty good pictures.

Thanks! It's nice to hear that. It makes doing 45 minutes every morning of cardio count when you know you're burrrrrrrning that last bit off!

Oh, yeah I'm surprised the camera takes such good pics. This isn't even the highest quality yet!

I'm not sure really how long its going to take or what I'll look like when I get there. I've never done this before and I've never seen my body looking like this before. It's rather weird sometimes because the transformation happened so quickly that when I look at the mirror, I am shocked that its me. Still feels like a dream and I need to get used to it.

On the bright side, I had to go shopping for new pants! Size 32s are too loose on me (I never even got a chance to buy them). I went from a 34 to a 30!
