Red face something i've noticed...

ever since i changed my diet and started to lift...i havent noticed a huge change in my body structure or weight...but what i have noticed is that my muscles, which used to be big and soft, are much harder....even my abs are hard under all my fat.
do they burn more calories when they are rock hard like that? will i start to see changes soon? i know it might be a weird question sorry.

Maybe you lost some subcutaneous fat/water allowing more of that muscle to be exposed from underneath. The hardness is definetely the diet and lifting causing more blood flow to your muscle for repair and growth, hence the rock hard feeling.
