NEW FEATURE! JSF Amazon.com Shopping Mall
The JSF Amazon Mall is now open!
I have it set up to show mostly fitness related stuff by default, but you can search for anything Amazon carries in any of the listed categories and purchase it though the JSF shop.
The prices are exactly same as you'd pay by going directly through Amazon and the checkout is through Amazon as well. So, if you are going to purchase something on Amazon, please consider using the JSF portal - it costs nothing and you are helping to support the site.

Yes, but the prices are not any higher so it works out great for everyone.

You could not have picked a better time to do this John. I was planning on doing a ton of Christmas shopping on Amazon sometime this weekend or next week. I will be doing a lot of shopping online this year (I always do).
Having some percentage going to JSF makes this even better. Very cool!

Awesome, thanks everyone. I think it will be a worthwhile program.
I'm still learning the ropes, but I'll look into all the things mentioned here. Some of it may be possible (like the wish list) and I just don't know about it yet.
I don't think this will work with Amazon.ca unless I set up a separate storefront. I'll look into that, too.
Also, if you see a category that might be of interest is missing, or are planning on making any purchases from a category not shown, just let me know and I'll get it added.

Sorry, I was not very clear.
Yes, you can buy anything Amazon carries, but only if I have added the master category in which that item resides. There's only a couple of dozen master categories, so I'll probably just add them all. It'll be like a JSF mall. 
I'm about to go work out, so I'll do it when I'm done.

A lot of times Amazon has the same product at different prices, depending on the seller (lots of 3rd party sellers). One of the nice things about the program I'm using for the storefront is that it automagically hunts down the lowest priced item and shows that first.

I love Amazon. Easy way for me and many others to contribute.
For those interested you can sign up on www.mainstreetsavings123.com to buy 20% discounted gift cards. There are lots of other stores on there too that you can get gift cards from. You have to pay $100 dollars for the year but if you use it, it does make economic sense. And yes I am a member and it is legit. Other major vendors on there are Home Depot, Lowes, Wal Mart and Target as well as many more.

Great idea - and good chance for some revenue to help you run everything!
Can you actually have a say on more involved lists? Instead of just general lists like DVDs - can you make a subcategory or something that is John Stone's Favorites - or fitness equipment, etc reccomended by you?
I don't know why, but for some reason you have a lot of pull around here John and people like what you reccomend because you are an honest person - like when you pick up new sponsors you actually don't do it for the money - you do it for the quality of the product - and because of that people trust what you say - so with John Stone's reccomended sub categories, I think a lot of people would be swayed to buying more...Just a thought - don't even know if its possible - but great store, lots of Chanukah and Christmas shopping to do!

This is pretty neat. What I don't get from Ebay, I usually buy from Amazon.com... so I'll always try to do it through the "JSF store" from now on.
