Lightbulb No one has posted recipes??? Here are some of my favs.

Pan-seared Salmon:

Take an oven-ready frying pan out and preheat the oven to 350.
Then talk your salmon filet, and sear the top and bottom for about 2 min (until the top and bottom have a nice crisp texture). Then place in the oven for about 10 min (I have a fish-detector-device that tells me if its done or not, but I think 10 min. is about right). Pull that baby out, and enjoy!! Also, you could sear your salmon and then add your seasonings before baking...for example, place lemon slices on top or infuse with garlic.

Quick Mexi-style Breakfast:
1/2 cup egg beaters or egg whites
2 morning star farms sausage links
salsa
tortilla

Using a fryingpan, pour in yer egg beaters and nuke the links (if you're lucky enough to have a microwave...I don't...so I have to cook them first and then hold them in reserve and add them in later). Egg beaters cook best on medium heat. When the eggs are just about done being runny, crush up the links and toss in the salsa (as much as you so desire). Turn the heat up high and stir it around until the salsa-egg-sausage mixture is hot, then spoon it directly on to a tortilla...roll it up, and there you go! Quick and delicious.

Poor Man's Hummus:

Take a food processor, add a can of garbanzo beans (great protein source), a tblspoon of peanut butter, a clove of garlic, parsely to taste, and process. When it gets chunky, drizzle olive oil (essential fats) in to the mix until it gets a little more creamy.
Put the spread on a tortilla, and kiss good breath goodbye!!

I've been told that adding a lil water or a lil milk might add to the creaminess, but I've never tried it...also, falafel is made in a very similar way but I haven't looked too closely at how to make falafel without frying it. Real hummus has tahini, but I think that peanut butter is a decent substitute...

I drink a lot of tea as well, and I buy organic herbs as opposed to teabags. I really enjoy putting a rosehip, a pinch of lavendar, and some lemon or rasberry grass root in my strainer...makes a really refreshing tea. Also, peppermint is a great morning tea because it makes your breathe fresh.

C'mon people, lets get some more posts up in here!!!
