Default Hey John...

I just saw the pics for today and your quads are looking monsterous. What exercises have you found give the best results when it comes to training them?

Thanks, I've been working them particularly hard over the last 5 months. Here's a typical leg day for me:

Quads: Barbell Squats, Leg Lifts
Hamstrings/Glutes: Lying Leg Curls, Weighted Lunges
Calves: One-Leg Calf Raises, Angled Calf Raises

I follow MAX-OT training principles and really go heavy for my 3 working sets on each exercise. I also attempt a 1-rep max squat between my warm-up/acclimation sets and my working sets.

I do deviate a bit from MAX-OT for my calves and weighted lunges. My calves and glutes seem to respond better to slightly less heavy weight but increased reps (about 10-14).

Of course getting that nice quad separation is mostly a function of low body fat levels.
