Weds - Rest/Cardio

*Crunches 3xFailure/Reverse Crunches 3xFailure
Fri - Rest/Cardio
Sat - Back
*Bent over BB Rows 3x8/Bent over DB Rows 3x8/Chin Ups 3x8
Sun - Rest/Cardio

if you search the threads you'll find literally thousands of responses to these questions. For a quick and simple answer 500 calories more a day than your maintanence level (you'll need to calculate this) will add 1 pound of weight a week and 1000 cals extra 2 pounds of weight a week. Wouldnt suggest you aim for more than that. These must be clean foods mind you no junk food and plenty of protein. Read as much as you can and you should be able to come up with something that works perfect for you.

will those pounds indefinitely be muscle? i mean, if you eat 1500 over mat. then youd be gaining 3lbs a week, but at what point do your muscles not use extra cals to grow?

No, some of it will be fat. If you eat clean, the fat gain will be minimal.
