Hi, I am kinda new here, but a neighbor just gave me a Sears System 300 and I was wondering if it would be any good to work out on. I am about 6' 1" and I weight 237 pounds. I want to lose fat and tone muscle and just generaly get fit. So let me know what to do. Thanks.

-Read stickies at the top of each forum section for help on getting started. Read, research, learn. We can't devise an entire program for you from scratch. You gotta meet us half way my friend!

-Possibly hire a trainer to help you get started, learn proper form and execution. Or visit www.bodybuilding.com as they have a boat load of exercises listed for each bodypart, along with a "how to" on each exercise.

-Post more info about your equipment. I for one am not familiar with it. Maybe there is a link to a website out there that explains it in detail...
