Default need advice

I'm totally motivated, now that I've seen what John achieved, and I definately want to try going the same way, with one large problem.

I don't know where to start. I weigh 100kilograms and am 1,90m big, so I want to lose some weight, and get rid of that fat, but I have no idea how to go about this. I have almost no equipment at my disposal, so what I would need is a bit of a nudge in the right direction when it comes to excercise and nutrition...

I hope someone could help me with this. Maybe you could, if it's not too much, suggest / point me in the direction of an excercise schedule and tell me what role nutrition actually plays....

I thank you very much indeed for your time

Hello.
The problem of NOT having any equipment can easily be solved by either joining a fitness club or by buying the stuff so you can have everything in your house/flat. How many time haven't I said "oh I have no time to work out today, this month, this year" and I felt like crap about it...but then I looked at John's accomplishments and that got me thinking what I can do in just 6 months, or maybe more. I used to drink beer and eat unhealthy food a couple of days a week but not any more, since I’ve learned what a huge importance the food intake has on both training and loosing weight.
If you want to start I suggest you walk into a gym, sign up and the next day make an appointment with a personal trainer and he’ll show you the ropes on how to start working out. I think you should start off using machines, not free weights at first so you let your muscles get used to heavier load, for the first month and then you can maybe insert some exercises with free weights too. About the cardio training, you could maybe start off with walking on the treadmill 3-4 times a week for like 15-25 minutes to lay the foundation for a better physical condition and in a month or so you can look at the HIIT.
I made the mistake last year to loose 25 lb in 13 days, but I was desperate and I do not recommend it so I think exercise is the best way. About the eating part maybe someone else can help you out better. I can only suggest eating more fruit, less fat and alcohol.
Good luck to you.

Before joining a gym, do a little research and make sure that it is something you will be able to commit to. I have worked at a few gyms and have seen many people get roped into a year membership. Then, for some reason, they can't find the time to get there. With the money they spent on the membership, they could have set themselves up with a decent weight set and a stationary bike or cardio piece. Good luck!

Before buying equipment or joining a gym try eating better and jogging at least 4 times a week.

If you're able to keep that up for a month and feel that you will continue to do it, then you can join a gym or start buying stuff you need for a home gym.
