Cool Newbie Intro :-)

What up guys?!

I've been reading some awesome stories on this forum for the past couple of days and yesterday I decided to sign up because I too want a transformation. I found a lot of the stories here so inspiring that it is currently motivating me to change my lifestyle.

As a start for my journey I created aNewbie Fitness Journal and joined one of the challenges in this forum. I'm hoping that these threads will help me keep in track.

Btw, here is my stats:
5 ft 9 in tall
170 lbs
23.6 % bf (based on the machine in the gym)

I was just wondering why my BF% is so high and what it means? My goal is to bring my body fat to 19%. Is this achievable in 8 weeks?

Anyway here is the routine i'm going to try to follow (based on what I read on the forums)

Monday - Cardio (30-45 mins) + Abs + Stretching
Tuesday - Weights (upper body) + stretching
Wed - Cardio (30-45 mins) + Abs + Streching
Fri - Weights (lower body) + stretching
Sat - Tennis

I don't really have a routine for the weights part coz i don't have a program. I'll just use the machines in the gym. Hopefully I won't get bored. It'll be totally awesome though if you guys can suggest a program for me. It'll be really helpful.

Thanks again for all your stories!

I'll update as soon as I can.

Peash out!
