Default Not enough Cals

Hi!
I started training last sunday and I've been doing great with that. I feel great, and notice results already :S! BUT! I just KNOW that my diet isn't what it should be. I don't think I'm eating enough cals a day. And I've yet to buy some whey protein.

My question is, how do I bring my daily Cal intake to 2500-3000? What foods will achieve this? I'm trying to eat as much as possible. But I run out of ideas. I'm finding it hard to eat 6 times a day. Any tips will be greatly appreciated!!!

An easy way to do that is with weight gainers. Funny thing is, I haven't heard anyone talk about them before...which I feel is actually a good thing because its too tempting to abuse them. Weight gainer powders are basically whey protein powders, with a TON of sugar in them. Generally about 600-2000 calories per serving, they're an easy way to up your calorie intake. That being said, that's probably also the worst part. The temptation is too high to overuse them and rely on them for a majority of your extra bulking calories, which isn't so good for muscle gains in that most of the calories in them are empty. If you're going to use them, I wouldn't take more then 600 calories per day worth of the stuff.

On a side note, there was a product out their called Up Your Mass. I forgot who makes it, but basically its weight gainer with the 40/40/20 ratio, with the fats coming from MCTs and EFAs. Haven't tried it because its pretty expensive, has anyone else?

Seriously, dont go out and buy any weight/mass gainer crap.

Simple shake: 1 scoop whey, 1 cup milk, 2 tb pb, 1 cup oats. THis is like 500 cals, and provides u carbs, fat, protein. Id luv to have these again, but my cals are already spread out.

Sugar is not the best way to get desired amount of calories. Maltodextrine is much better, when speaking of gainers.
