Full Body Lifting
Hello,
I do a type of circuit training on my lifting days where I work arms, back, shoulders and legs. I want to lift 3 x a week, but I was told to rest 2 days in between lifting days. Should I take the time to rest or can I do for instance Mon., Wed. and Fri? Thanks. Toya

that really depends on how heavy you are lifting... are you lifting to failure? if you are then I would say get more rest... if your not lifting to failure I don't see why you couldn't lift on Mon, Wed, and Fri

When I'm not sick ( got bad head and chest cold right now ) I do circuit training 3 times a week as well as running 4 times a week. As Chameleon said, if your not lifting to failure no reason you really need 2 days rest.

Great......I don't lift to failure so it won't be a problem. Thanks for the quick response. Toya
