Default New Punching Bag Option for Titan T1

Hi All. I just wanted to give a brief update to everyone who has inquired about the punching bag option. We have finished fabrication and testing of two versions. Deliveries will be available starting in six weeks (we are taking pre-orders now). Also, I want to thank everyone who suggested this idea for the Heavy Punching Bag (HPB) option. It really is a great idea, and we are glad to be the first all-in-one machine in the world to offer such an option. Fitcore remains commited to every suggestion you make and where possible will design, fabricate, and bring your ideas to market. Many years of research and design went into making the Titan you see today but we are always looking for the next great idea to add for all existing and future Titan owners. We want the Titan to reflect your needs and be flexible enough to tailor-make exactly to your specifications, allowing it to grow with you for many years to come. Please keep the good ideas coming!

For those who have not seen this new option please see our partners website here:

http://www.szultka.com.pl/english/conanHPB.htm

On a similar note, Fitcore has formed a partnership with Everlast Boxing Company to offer you Heavy bags at a good price when you purchase option HPB. We also carry all other Everlast equipment should you need anything else related to boxing. Furthermore, we have formed a partnership with the Teeter Corporation, the popular maker of high quality Inversion Boots. These boots allow a very high quality stomach workout and the ability to safely stretch the back muscles. These boots will be available in conjunction with the machines shipping in six weeks.

One great thing about the punching bag option is it adds a high quality cardio capability to your machine. Boxing has long been known as one of the great cardio workouts, but it's also a great outlet for those days when your boss gave you one too many memos about that TPS report (please reference "Office Space"). We recomend the attachement option that hangs outside of the machine if you have the space. If not, we offer a version where you can hang the bag inside the back of your machine for space savings, although when you want to perform other Titan exercise you will need to take the bag down (takes about ten seconds). The Heavy Bag Attachement is capable of holding up to a 300 pound bag for those of you who are interested in martial arts applications (punching and kicking). Normaly we recomend a 100 pound bag.

In the near future Fitcore will have our new website up, allowing more detailed information on the Titan and related products. For right now we continue to share a website with our partner and Co-Developer, Szultka Sport and Fitness who does a great job!

One last thing, for those ordering Titans, please make sure to mention that you are obtaining the JSF discount at the time of your order so we can forward this information to John as soon as possible, allowing him to upgrade your account and get you his free offers. This webite is a great resource to many people and John continues to make it better all the time. I would say that JSF and Fitcore share similar business philosophies. Thanks once again to those here who who have contributed ideas for the Titan and thanks to John for all his hard work in helping so many people make positive changes in their lives!

Brian,

Punching bag? What is a punching bag? Is that like a Heavy Bag? If it's a heavy bag thats great, I have one hung by my smith machine. some days instead of resting between sets I throw jabs and overhand rights for a minute then rest for 60 seconds. Rope work between sets is great too, same thing two minute pause between sets with 1 minute rope work.

Anyway I think you are refering to a heavy bag.

Trask, that is correct. This new option is an arm that allows attachment of a Heavy Bag to the Titan seen here http://www.szultka.com.pl/english/conanHPB.htm

I like your idea of intermingling cardio on your Heavy Bag with a regular workout. We had several people ask for this attachment and for roughly $50 they have something as heavy duty and stable as this stand which costs considerably more: http://store.everlastboxing.com/ever...bag-stand.html Our research indicated some of the less heavy duty stands can move around some but with the heaviness and stability of the Titan this is not an issue.

Any other advice from guys using heavy bags on how you use yours and what weight of bag you use (ie 45, 75, 100, 200)?
